Action Suspense Action more Action more Suspense
This is a no-brainer go-to film, and one to own. For anyone liking abundant (does it ever stop) action. Action is led by one of the truly great action heroes over several decades, Tom Cruise, the Top Gun of Harrowing Action. Someone who'd been in the theater stated Cruise actually did the wing stunt personally. Wow, authentic action. It's not all CG.

And there is beauty. Of course the gals will swoon over Tom Cruise. He still looks as good as he did in Top Gun of 1986. After several Missions Impossible, and "A Few Good Men", he remains as photogenic as ever, and in top physical form. He has his rival, one the guys will thing stunningly hot, in Ilsa (played by Rebecca Ferguson of `The White Queen'), who has her own action moments. A very fine duo, and keep in mind Ferguson was only 3 years old when Top Gun hit the screen. A fit and sassy duo indeed, worthy of a second movie together.

But, face it, it is the barrage of action that makes this film 5 star and will...
Soars to new heights thanks to Tom Cruise
"One day you're going to take it too far", tech geek and IMG agent Benji Dunn (Simon Pegg) warns unstoppable operative Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) in Mission: Impossible-Rogue Nation. He may as well be sending a stiff warning to the long-lived franchise as a whole, which has grown well beyond its roots as simply a remake of the hit TV series. While the first film had the team deep in a fairly complex operation involving a number of moving parts, subsequent chapters have centered around Hunt pulling off increasingly insane stunts. And with Cruise pushing his 53-year-old body to the limit for every death-defying spectacle, Mission: Impossible has grown into a true thrill-a-minute event, and fans certainly won't leave this one disappointed.

Basically, Mission: Impossible is a bunch of insane stunts with an extremely loose plot holding them together, and 'Rogue Nation' may be the weakest narrative of the bunch. However, the action is out of this world, and they don't waste...
Like a mouth full of Pop Rocks! This is intense!
Making the impossible not only possible, but believable. And like a mouth full of Pop Rocks - this film is intense! This is easily the best since the first Mission Impossible. Cruise is in top form, and an inspiration to anyone from a fitness perspective - can you believe he is 53 years old? I need to stop writing reviews and hit the gym more! This film is nonstop action, you won't want to miss a minute. Make sure to get there on time, because it jumps into intense action immediately, well before the opening credits. This opening scene with Tom Cruise hanging onto the side of a military style plane sets the tone for the entire movie.

Simplified premise is that the IMF has been disbanded after being implicated in the destruction of the Kremlin, they are absorbed by the CIA, Hunt is acting as a rogue agent, the Syndicate is out there, and not only do they need to be stopped, but the IMF has some pride in its mission and wants to clear any doubt about its efficacy...
