Pleasantly surprised

Hilarious! Was a bit hesitant to watch it, since I thought the previous Justice League vs Bizarro League was mediocre. One that both kids and parents will enjoy.

Justice League Go!

Nice addition to the DC Lego-verse, good for fans of Legos, JLU, and Teen Titans as Cyborg (with the same hilarious voice from Teen Titans Go!) plays a big role, my kids 5/3 both enjoyed it, and I appreciated the old school Superfriends shout outs.

Kids loved it

I (dad) personally don't think this was as good as the batman lego movie, but my 5.5 year old son and 3.5 year old daughter both love it. They've both watched it several times already, and I expect they will watch it many more times going forward.

Huge imporevement over the past two seasons
Season four of Heroes had the show taking steps back in the right direction. After the disaster of the past two seasons, the show titled this season "Redemption" to try and earn some respect back. In my mind, they did earn redemption. This season wasn't as good as season one, but Heroes was fun to watch again. Heroes hasn't been fun at all since season one. This season finally started to organically develop the characters again and introduced many new characters I enjoyed.

This season starts a few months after season three, and all of the characters are dealing with the repercussions. (spoiler) For instance, after pushing Nathan's mind into Sylar's body, Sylar is now trapped in Matt's head. Sylar for the first half of the season tried to get back into his body, and along the way insults Matt in the most hilarious ways possible. Sad it had to end this way
Heroes season 1 was nothing short of spectacular. After that, I don't know what happened, but the care and artistry that went into the writing and production didn't seem to keep up. You noticed it in the little things like the narrative and the comic book titling beautifully done. It was really a work of love. It's like they just tired of it too soon. Sure it went along and was entertaining, and good for the most part. We really grew to love the characters. But odd plot choices soon played into Season 4 and the die was cast for the end. I liked Samuel as an actor but god did they drag out that whole carnival thing. There are many things worth watching it through to the end though. That was just one thread that was thread bare halfway through the season. Overall, I am happy that Season 1 does stand on its own quite well and as a series, it did end at a reasonable story point. It was a great show but some part of the passion left after the first season. If you watch Season...
Surpassed my expectations...
So a few years back this show called "Heroes" was getting all kinds of hype, I finally sat down to watch it (on DVD)...and though I liked certain aspects of it, I eventually found it tedious and pretty much stopped about 1/2 way through.

Then I heard snippets of the plot line of Season 3, and then I managed to start watching season 4 (simultaneously) and I have to say, just when the show seems to keep losing more and more viewers, it seems to be getting better and better.

Part of what makes season 4 a particular treat is the way that the creators and writers really expanded on the more universally applicable concepts of "belonging," "fitting in," "people curious and admiring that may turn to hate," and "redemption." Although this is full of "specials" and great ability clashes and sequences, this season is really rather character focused and humanistic.

It’s been a few months since we last saw the Justice League in LEGO: DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League vs. Bizarro League (Blu-ray+DVD+Digital HD UltraViolet Combo Pack) and things are going well. Our heroes are continually embarrassing the villains. That’s when Lex Luthor hatches his plan to form a legion, a legion of DOOM (cue maniacal laughing.) It’s soon revealed that this is not Luthor’s plan, but Darkseid’s. He intends to conquer the earth and needs the villains to do his dirty work. There are a few twists and turns and a surprise character introduction in the second act which was fun and crucial to the plot.
We get many of the same characters we’ve seen before and this time Cyborg takes center stage, hungry for acceptance and the only one who can see through the mind tricks pulled on the League later in the film. The Trickster makes a welcome appearance...

My 5 year old super hero lego lover loves this movie! He was cackling during several parts. Thank you for making movies that kids and adults can enjoy together!!! There are too few superhero shows/movies that I can let my son watch without worrying about what he will see or hear.

Another fun Justice League adventure in the books, another quality family-friendly film
Another wonderful Justice League adventure, featuring our most favorite heroes. While the movie starts with the exploits of numerous Justice League members, the main movie centers around Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Flash, and Cyborg, who is trying to establish is roe in the team. (I must say, I'm sad not to much or any action out of Aquaman or Green Arrow). The team squares off against the Legion of Doom (quickly distilled down to only a handful of villains via a creative selection process)

The movie plot is straight-forward, without being too boring. The introduction of Martian Manhunter is interesting, and how he interacts with the League in the beginning.

Because this being a LEGO-theme movie, you will see numerous vehicles from the Lego DC Hero kits that are already on the store shelves (even the inexplicable Batman robot). But at least my son was excited when he saw the JL ship (Javelin) on screen, "Daddy, I have that plane...
