Pleasantly surprised

Hilarious! Was a bit hesitant to watch it, since I thought the previous Justice League vs Bizarro League was mediocre. One that both kids and parents will enjoy.

Justice League Go!

Nice addition to the DC Lego-verse, good for fans of Legos, JLU, and Teen Titans as Cyborg (with the same hilarious voice from Teen Titans Go!) plays a big role, my kids 5/3 both enjoyed it, and I appreciated the old school Superfriends shout outs.

Kids loved it

I (dad) personally don't think this was as good as the batman lego movie, but my 5.5 year old son and 3.5 year old daughter both love it. They've both watched it several times already, and I expect they will watch it many more times going forward.

This year ive been getting into comics. Ive read all of the justice league new 52 comics and ive started buying them since issue #40 along others as well. I got sucked it (-:

Anyways ive been meaning to buy this movie, and i cant find the bluray+dvd+digital download copies in stores anymore, until i stumbled upon this last month(i preordered it as soon as i knew this item was legit). Its great for those who are new to comics and also want to own the movies. So like me.
Im happy because now i own the movie bundle ive been wanting, PLUS the graphic novel that I probably would have never bought on its own.
Since ive read these issues online, its so great having a physical copy of the comics. The illustrations are amazing irl.

This review is probably all over the place but what i'm trying to say is that this is an amazing set, at an amazing price.

P.S. i read that theres going to be a box set that includes all of the movie+graphic novel bundles...

Really great deal

You can find info on the stories from the individual book and movie so I'm only going to talk about the packaging.

I looked around and could find out much information about this but went ahead and took a shot and bought it. The book is a hardcover format and is full size (instead of a little Blu Ray size). The JLA Earth 2 book alone sells for around 10-12 dollars so it's a great deal if you don't have either. The book does have a bit of gutter loss but it's not too bad. Still completely readable. It comes with a book (looks like comixology) and movie (Ultraviolet) digital code . The two discs (DVD/Blu Ray) don't come in a separate case but is actually stored in the back cover of the book.

Mediocre product.

The quality of the book is somewhat low, with wavy pages and gutter loss as mentioned in another review. It's not terrible by any means, but annoying. The UV digital copy code isn't recognized, which is an annoyance. UV has escalated it to WB and they so far, are silent. Since the disks are stored in the back cover, it will be a minor storage issue. I probably won't buy anymore of these, and will trade this back in for a few Amazon bucks.

One of my favorite DCU animated movies

One of my favorite DCU animated movies; trippy storyline, inventive action scenes, great animation! The full sized hard cover comic is written by Grant Morrison and drawn by Frank Quietly and they are as great as ever. Besides the Blu ray and hard cover comic, there is also a DVD of the movie, digital copy of the movie, and digital copy of the comic. Truly great value; buy it and hopefully DC/WB will add more to this series. I would love to get Dark Knight Returns and Batman Under the Red Hood with their hard cover comics.

And of course Lego does a very good job with this stuff I'm always impressed with what they can do with just legos.... its very impressive.

Rise of Aquaman
In 2011 DC Comics initiated the "New 52" reboot of all their titles including Aquaman, a superhero that previously seemed like a fish out water (pun intended), and anyone who read that first issue had to pick their jaw up off the floor (I remember my fav comic store being constantly sold out) seeing this reinvigorated character leaping through the city streets (Incredible Hulk style) and basically looking and being awesome. A prevalent theme for said comic has been the struggle for Atlantis which is also the driving force behind 2015's "Throne of Atlantis".

This film is a sequel to "Justice League: War" however the two couldn't be further apart, a fact best demonstrated by the "rebooted" following themes: Shazaam is awesome again and his nose is no longer nestled between Cyborgs cheeks (not so much anyway), Lantern is voiced by Nathan Fillion (which all alone improves the overall quality of the character and the film in general), Superman and Wonderwoman actually engage in...
*****Spoiler Alert**** Just Ok
*****Some Spoilers in the Review*****

The movie was ok though I think Justice League: War was better. It seems that they are forgoing any type of story development in favor of action and fighting scenes. At the first the Atlantians are strong and skilled fighters that can damage a 1/4 ton Cyborg then they're just "ordinary" bad guys that die so easily from a stern look by Batman. The Atlantian army is part of the coup, but then at the end they are shocked that a coupe happened...just examples of the inconsistencies that occur numerous time throughout the film.

I didn't like how they compensated for how weak the Atlantian army was against the JL by making the Trident Spear all powerful. Oceanmaster beats up the entire League, yet is beaten Aquaman who had just gotten his butt kicked by Manta Ray. I will always support the DCAU original movies and look forward to their release, but I feel the New 52 based movies are not as well done as say Batman: Mask...
Waterlogged
If they want to make a new Justice League cartoon show, they should just make it -- because "Justice League: Throne of Atlantis" feels like it was written as a multi-episode arc.

And yet, this sequel to "Justice League: War" is strangely flat. Supposedly it introduces the character of Aquaman, king of Atlantis, while also exploring the growing pains of the Justice League. Yet both are handled with an oddly passionless approach, with all the characters -- except Cyborg -- sliding into their new positions with little actual conflict or trouble.

The Justice League is having trouble coming together as a group -- Batman is busy doing his solo thing, Superman and Wonder Woman spend all their time macking on each other, and Cyborg is having trouble adjusting to his new body. But when a submarine is destroyed by an Atlantean army, they have to get together and investigate.

Meanwhile, lighthouse-owner Arthur Curry is mourning the death of his dad when he's...

It's condensed, but it's missing a few things

So I'll come right out and say it: Holiday Hi-Jynx has been removed from this collection.

With that out of the way, this repackaging is more about saving space. And it may be my imagination, but the picture looks a bit brighter and cleaner. However, unlike the previous sets, there are no episode listings anywhere on or within the box/cases, so the only way to see which episode is on which disc is to play them and check the menu.

So pretty much if you want the entire Indigo League series in one package for a low cost, and do not mind losing a controversial episode, than this set is for you. Otherwise I would recommend paying a little more for the first three bulkier box sets.

It's a cool idea, but....
This is a good price for the first season of Pokémon, considering it was nearly 100 episodes long, however there are a few things wrong with this set. There are episodes missing such as the episode where Ash caught all his Tauros (unfortunately the episode was banned by 4Kids do to intense gun usage so it's not Viz's fault.) that's a shame too, I noticed an episode where they're at Oak's laboratory, but I didn't recall seeing the episode where he caught them. Now the box art shows there are 79 episodes, however Indigo League had 82 episodes in Japan. Okay two episodes were banned in the U.S., and the third one seems to have just been omitted I'm not sure which one it was yet. Then finally, I believe there was a repeat of one episode in this set or it was place in this set out of order. The episode where Ash and his Pokémon get trapped in a snow cave specifically. It may have been put in here twice. I saw it after an episode where Ash's Charmander had already evolved into...
78 episodes? What happened to 80 episodes?
Pokemon Indigo League was the series my friends and I grew up watching together on Kids WB. It was exciting and fun. Now seeing that this series has been released more than once, I have to admit that this complete series box set is convenient (and saves shelf space). However, most of us have learned that another episode has been banned. According to the information I researched, Japan had made 82 episodes (US only got 80 episodes) for Pokemon Indigo League (Season 1). There were 2 episodes that never made it to the US:

It’s been a few months since we last saw the Justice League in LEGO: DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League vs. Bizarro League (Blu-ray+DVD+Digital HD UltraViolet Combo Pack) and things are going well. Our heroes are continually embarrassing the villains. That’s when Lex Luthor hatches his plan to form a legion, a legion of DOOM (cue maniacal laughing.) It’s soon revealed that this is not Luthor’s plan, but Darkseid’s. He intends to conquer the earth and needs the villains to do his dirty work. There are a few twists and turns and a surprise character introduction in the second act which was fun and crucial to the plot.
We get many of the same characters we’ve seen before and this time Cyborg takes center stage, hungry for acceptance and the only one who can see through the mind tricks pulled on the League later in the film. The Trickster makes a welcome appearance...

My 5 year old super hero lego lover loves this movie! He was cackling during several parts. Thank you for making movies that kids and adults can enjoy together!!! There are too few superhero shows/movies that I can let my son watch without worrying about what he will see or hear.

Another fun Justice League adventure in the books, another quality family-friendly film
Another wonderful Justice League adventure, featuring our most favorite heroes. While the movie starts with the exploits of numerous Justice League members, the main movie centers around Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Flash, and Cyborg, who is trying to establish is roe in the team. (I must say, I'm sad not to much or any action out of Aquaman or Green Arrow). The team squares off against the Legion of Doom (quickly distilled down to only a handful of villains via a creative selection process)

The movie plot is straight-forward, without being too boring. The introduction of Martian Manhunter is interesting, and how he interacts with the League in the beginning.

Because this being a LEGO-theme movie, you will see numerous vehicles from the Lego DC Hero kits that are already on the store shelves (even the inexplicable Batman robot). But at least my son was excited when he saw the JL ship (Javelin) on screen, "Daddy, I have that plane...

I thought it was terrific. Unlike some of the more recent fare from DC, the characters were well-realized and the dark aspects of the story seemed to spring organically from the characters and situations rather just a need for the writers to provide a cheap thrill. Each character was given a flashback origin - Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. I found Wonder Woman's story the most compelling - *SPOILER* - it was quite a switch to see the typically virtuous gods of New Genesis transformed into a group of treacherous murderers.

The visuals and voice acting were top notch. It's great to have Bruce Timm back again. I'm looking forward to seeing future episodes of this different Justice League on YouTube.

Gods and Monsters

The latest DCU animated Feature is an extremely dark else worlds story, which the justice league consists of SuperMan the Biological son of General Zod and raised by migrant farmers, Batman who is now a vampire, and bekka a "New God", daughter of the High Father and Widow to Orion. I had alot of fun with this film infact i think this is the shot in the arm that the dcu animated films kind of lately there titles have been servicable or mildy entertaining, I personally really enjoyed "Justice League: War" and "Son of Batman" but they weren't Flashpoint Paradox Good. This is a dark complex and surprising well rounded take on the league and i loved bloody moment of it. I can't wait to revisit this else world story, i hope the make a sequel to this it was a ton of fun!

2nd, if you're familiar with the Elseworlds imprint from DC, and like those stories, this is most definitely a story that could have the Elseworlds label.

A completely alternate universe DC with no crossovers, the story covers the origins of these very different heroes.. ones with questionable morality involved in an actual conspiracy/mystery.
